Suckers

Momma here. Ok, so for the last 3 days I've been trying to post an AWESOME video of the Chlo-Monster, but Blogger sucks and it's not working. I've seriously tried 7 times. So, because blogger sucks, you'll have to make do with some pictures of Chloe and Ashlyn trying their first suckers! Ha ha. I'm so creative. We're off to Chicago with the Mrs. M and Corrie to see Megs and shop today. The boys are on their up north golf trip. Hope everyone has a fabulous weekend.

Go Pack Go!

Chloe here. Just wanted to give some support to the home team as they play the Bengals today. Mommy also plays Daddy in Fantasy Football today, so there may be some yelling around here. These pictures are with my Grandpa. We both like the Packers. He's at the game today with his brother. Go Pack Go!

Back to School

Chloe here. My mommy has been back to school for a few weeks now but we're still adjusting around here. That is one reason the blog has not been updated so frequently lately. She had been helping me type all summer. Anyway, I know I'm too little for school, but this is what I would imagine my school picture might look like for this year. Happy Back to School!

Almost Talking

Chloe here. Today I said things that were very close to words but not quite. Things that made my Mommy and Daddy do a double take. I said, "Hi Dad" *(about 8 times) and "I like it" in reference to my peachy dinner. I think a "Thank you" and "Hey baby" came out too. I am also cruising on furniture. Which makes me thirsty. So I do this.

10 month Bloopers

So, we had way more unacceptable pictures from her 10 month photos than keepers. Here's why. She wouldn't sit still. She wouldn't smile. She grabbed the sign and ate it (7 of them, actually). She was crying. The list goes on and on. Enjoy this side of the "Real Chloe Jo."

10 months

Chloe is 10 months old today. I'm not going to lie. This photo shoot was stressful! We did not have a fully mobile baby last time we tried this and she had no intention of cooperating. So, the number of smiley, sitting baby pictures is way down and the number of blooper pictures is way up. (Check out tomorrow's post for the bloopers) Lots has happened in the past month. We'll go in chronological order. Soon after the last post on August 12, she started being able to get into the sitting position on her own. A week later she officially crawled. Now she is EVERYWHERE. We've had to do the baby proofing of the house and can no longer leave her alone anywhere. She also took 5 steps from Daddy to Mommy but has yet to repeat this. So we won't count it as anything official. Along with the crawling (which in my opinion is quite enough for one month) she is bopping and clapping to music, giving high fives, and can do the motion for "Touchdown!" In the last week she has began pulling up on furniture, but has no idea how to get back down. She has also grown two more teeth (lower incisors), totaling 8 and is working on another one on the top. Along with all of this progress, she has slipped back in one area. Sleep. She hasn't woken up in the middle of the night since she was 8 weeks and is now waking up 2 or more times per night. She also isn't napping as well. If anyone has some advice or words of wisdom, send them our way.

Happy Birthday Little Sprout! Mommy and Daddy can't believe what a big girl you've become in the last month. We are so proud of your spunk and determination and love you so much!

Recently our very good friend, Melissa Schuett took some fabulous pictures of Chloe for my birthday present. These are some of the highlights. The last one includes her 4 month old daughter, Aubrey. Isn't she a sweetheart?

That Girl in the Mirror Again

Chloe here. If you remember from last month this girl came over to play and we had lots of fun. Well, she came over again. We had fun spinning in circles and waving to each other. Happy Labor Day!

In the Cabinet

Good morning! Chloe here. As I continue on my mobility journey, I am now entering uncharted waters. I am able to open the TV cabinet and go inside!

Here I am pondering whether or not to risk it. There might be dragons in there!


I am a very brave girl and go for it! No dragons. Just a puzzle or two.


I am very pleased with myself. Mommy and Daddy's reaction was, "Uh oh." Looks like we need to go shopping for some baby-proofing stuff this weekend. No fun.

Cheerios and Oranges

Chloe here. Mommy started school this week and I've been VERY busy crawling and exploring. I have Daddy exhausted. Here is an example. Yesterday, Daddy left me alone for a minute and I went foraging for food - Cheerios to be exact.



I also have been feeding myself more and not gagging as much on chunks of food. I have some mandarin orange pieces here. I want to use my spoon, but just can't figure out how to get the food on there and into my mouth.
