Summer Fun (just add water)

Chloe here.  One of the most fun things about summer is playing with water, right kids?

 Casey was very content...

 We took a break from annihilating each other and I found a little toad.

 Then we played catch with some water balloons.

 I had to stand in the pool.

 So that when I dropped them (see how I shut my eyes when they come?) they wouldn't pop right away.

 Ok, Papa, I'm ready.

 Got it!

 Casey wandered in the garden and found some peas.

Yum!

This is the funniest thing ever.  Check out how all of his water drains out before he even gets to water the veggies.  So, the second time around, he chooses something not so far.  My brother is hilarious!

Chloe's Birthday Party - BackBlogs

Kids Night at the Zoo

Chloe here.  We went to the zoo last week in the evening, when it's usually closed.  It's something that's open only to members.  Super fun!

We went with the Schuberts.  I love my "cousins" Ben and Ryan.

 Ben rocked it out in a little kid band on stage.

 He did awesome!

 Then we got some temporary tattoos.  I know you've already seen Casey's in a previous post.

 And the classic Baby Gorilla picture.

 We got a little bit silly with him.

 Especially Casey!

 But check this out... a decent shot of the 3 of us!

 We were all smiles in that other picture, but this better represents how the night went.  I was crabby and Casey and Ben were bickering.  That's how it works with family, I guess.

 We ended the night with a train ride.  Look how excited Casey is!

 So excited that he couldn't stay seated for a picture.

 Still excited!

Although when we actually started moving, he got a little nervous.

4th of July Photo Montage: Popsicles!

For the second year in a row at the Golembiewski party, all the kids line up to eat Bomb Pops. This is our story.

4th of July Party

Chloe here. After the parade, we had some major naps and then went to Jonny and Corrie's for their annual 4th of July party.

There were LOTS of kids and they had water stuff out for us to play with.

Casey really got "into" it, if you know what I mean.

Then the band started playing some polka, so Daddy joined me for a dance.

I may be a Simek, but I still have Polish blood in me!

Do you think we're ready for "Dancing with the Stars?"

Casey looked on with jealousy.

After our dance, Daddy and I did some lounging.

With my new patriotic towel from Grandma Chris.

What a cutie... check out the shoes!

This was fun.

then we enjoyed some ice cream... 4th of July style...
