Fabulous Friday

Chloe here. It's been a wet, rainy, cold week. So what else is there to do but have Daddy put ALL the barrettes in my hair. Don't hate me because I'm beautiful.

Wisconsin Weather

If you live in Wisconsin, you know what the weather is like today. It sucks. Chloe should not have to dress like this at the end of March. But she sure looks awfully cute in that hat, dontcha think?

Winter Swim

Chloe here. When the weather gets cold, Mommy, Daddy and I got to swim lessons at the local Y! This time around, I learned to use a kick board and got more comfortable putting my face in the water and blowing bubbles. I can't wait until summer to try out my new skills!

Holiday Wrap Up: A Montage

Chloe here. Yes, I do believe I am still allowed to update you on the holidays as long as there is still snow on the ground, right? So, we are going to blast through all the fun stuff I did in a whirlwind tour. Here we go!

Just startin' the holiday season playing with some bows.

Doing some shoveling.

Playing in the many, many inches of snow we got.

Helping Grandpa unroll Rolos to make Christmas candy.

Concentrating really hard...

This project is delicious!

I had to taste the pretzels too and make sure they were ok.

I made some reindeer cookies with Mommy.

They had pretzels for antlers and M&Ms for the eyes and nose.

I got pretty good at doing them myself.

Grammie helped me pat the dough down.

While I ate some, of course.

Didn't they turn out well?

Then I took a little rest in my new doll cradle.

And tried on Mommy's shoes.

Chilin' with Connor and Aiden in the midst of the Christmas season.

Making some Christmas cards with Mommy.

So much fun!

Grandpa really likes those Makit-Bakit ornaments where you put the little crystals in the metal frame and put it in the oven.

Mommy lost patience so Daddy worked on hers.

We went to Candy Cane Lane and I got to meet Santa. More scary than fun, to tell the truth.

Got to make some holiday-ish Rice Krispy treats with Mommy.

Christmas with the Marinkovich clan. Opening presents.

Reading stories with Tyler Golembiewski.

Then up to Merrill. Where else can you ride a bike around in the basement.

Taking a break to read a story with Grandpa.

But then back on the bike!

Whoa, Daddy, you're crazy!

Feeding the deer some corn with Grandpa.

Love the snow!

Snow bunny.

Check out my giant icicle.

Family shot up north.

Me by the tree.

Chloe Jo and Nana.

Aren't we the cutest ever?

With Nana and Grandpa.

Isn't their tree pretty?

Uncle Mike and Aunt Jan couldn't make it so we Skyped with them while opening presents.

Present opening with Mommy!

Look! I even have my own stocking with my name on it.

Nana seemed very surprised by her gift.

So we opened it together.

I got a tent!

So much run to run and jump and play. It even has a tube!

When Grammie and Grandpa came to visit,I showed Granpda how we fed the deer the corn.

Some nights we just relaxed and watched TV.

Now we jumped to New Year's Eve. You know... just eating my banana.

We had a nice dinner of steak and lobster with Auntie Megan and Uncle Momo.

Here's a family shot.

After the meal, we went to Marinkovich's to hang out.

Ashlyn and I had fun sitting in Mr. M's chair.

And playing Ring Around the Rosy.

The next morning Daddy made us pancakes and bacon... yum!

And we went to Grammie and Grandpa's to watch the Badgers (lose) in the Rose Bowl.

How do you like Mommy's cake?

Grandpa helped too.

I had a hard time posing because I really wanted to swipe some frosting!

We cheered on the Badgers as a family.

Matt, Mary and Baby Benjamin were there too.

Whew! All done. Why don't you make like Grandpa and me and take a nap... I'm going to.
