Cookie Day

Chloe here. Now that Mommy is off of work for awhile, I can take a break from watching Casey and do some blogging.  What does Daddy do then?  You don't want to know...

So anyway, nothing says "holidays" like our annual Cookie Day with the Marinkovich clan. For the 2nd year in a row, it was at Corrie and Jonny's fantabulous house.
I got right to business sampling some marshmallows.

While Grandma Chris, Gabriella and Justin supervised.

Mommy and I made some cornflake wreaths.  And the newlyweds looked pretty :)

Nicole was really nice and helped me put on the red hot candies.

Mommy tried to wrangle Casey.  We didn't think he should try one.

 But I did.  Oooooooh spicy!

I decided to leave them for decorating.

Daddy and I posed by the fire.

Then it was Mommy's turn.  The apron I was wearing was hers when she was a little girl!

Ashlyn, Gabriella and I had to make sure that "Baby Maya" got into the living room safely.

Then I went back for another baby with all of her gear.

And got them all set up on the couch.

 Casey was busy too.

 What a cutie!

Ashlyn was sampling... naughty girl!

Ok, maybe I was too.

But we sure look cute doing it!

Daddy supervised the whole mess.

Then it was time for the Christmas dance!

Miss Corrie led us in some stretching.

 The usual dance warm up.

And we walked in a circle.

And then it began.

"All I want for Christmas is..."

"...YOU..."
... baby!"

Thanksgiving

Chloe here.  It's the kickoff to the holiday season, right?  So what better way to start the kick-off to our holiday blogs than with a rehash of our day.

You already saw some pictures of me and my brother in our turkey pajamas.  If not, click here to relive that experience.

We didn't go anywhere until after naps, and if you remember, it was a really warm day.  So I got to practice riding my birthday present in mommy's school parking lot.  What fun!

Yes, if you look closely I'm still wearing my pajamas.

 Don't judge.

 I had so much fun!
And it wore me out so I took a nice nap for Mommy and Daddy.

This is only the 2nd time I was able to ride it.  Not bad, hey?

After a super yummy meal (thanks Grammie), me and Spunky got ready to build a gingerbread house.

Auntie Megan took the lead, while I rehydrated.

Aunt Kim helped Casey ride is rocket.

 And... finished!

Not sure what the photographer asked us to do for this one.

We also celebrated Auntie Megan's 30th birthday.

 Make a wish!

And the best part of the whole day... playing "Fish Farts" on Auntie Megan's phone. If you aren't familiar with the app, you should check it out :)
