Chloe here. Now that we're all on winter break, I can finally catch up on some of my blogging!
We celebrated the first part of Christmas in Merrill, over Thanksgiving. Both Mike and Jan and Auntie Jodie were able to make it so the whole Simek family was there.
Enjoy the photos from our time there. Thanks, Nana and Grandpa for hosting!
Casey and I got some quality TV time in.
And Nana read Casey some stories.
Mike and Jan brought our "doggie cousins" with them... their names are Shorter and Sarah.
And Daddy and Uncle Mike did a Turkey Trot (5K) on Thanksgiving. It wasn't too cold. Way to go Daddy for beating Uncle Mike!
Since we were Up North, there was plenty of snow to play in on Thanksgiving weekend.
Grandpa taught Casey how to shovel.
And there was some sledding involved.
Snow!!!!
Daddy found a more efficient way of pulling me on the sled.
So fun!!
Then it was time to open presents.
The youngest started first.
Look at him go!
Then it was my turn to open.
Uncle Mike and Aunt Jan got me the coolest Disney princess art set. Thanks!
Nana also found a cool toy... a fairy that flies!
Unfortunately we had a hard time controlling her.
Even the adults.
The day after Thanksgiving, just the girls (me, Mommy, Nana, Aunt Jan and Auntie Jodie) went down to Wausau to look at a big set up of Christmas trees.
Mommy let me take some pictures of trees that I liked. This one had construction vehicles all over it... for Casey!
This one was all purple. I really liked it. Aunt Liz would like it too.
All Packers. Duh, you all like it, right?
And this one looked like it from the movie Frozen! My favorite :)
Then Mommy had to use the restroom and left me with one of the Aunties (I won't say which one) and I went a bit crazy with the camera.
Snowmen.
Shameless selfie.
Random ornament? Keep in mind that these are 5 or 6 out of about 70 that Mommy had to go through. And you wonder why we don't blog as often? This is why!
Ok, not really.
Elmo for Casey.
Mickey for Casey.
Doughnut ornament!
Cool looking sled :)
Then Mommy came back... I didn't tell her about all those pictures until later :)
So that's the beginning of our Christmas season! We had lots of fun in Merrill and it was great to see everyone.
