Chloe here.  So I got to pick strawberries with Nana, and then I got to make strawberry jam with Grammie!

 I got to pick them out at the Farmer's Market.

 And mash them myself.  Add the sugar and pectin, and...

Voila... jam!  (Check out my cute apron.  It used to be Mommy's when she was a little girl.)

Meeting Bambi

Chloe here. Not sure if you know this, but I LOVE Disney. A lot. While I was up in Merrill, Bambi became my new favorite movie. Here's a big reason why.

Disney Movie Dinner with Heidemans

Chloe here. Most of the time that I was at Nana's and Grandpa's, Mommy was taking some additional school and staying with Sarah in Minocqua. One night, we drove the 50 minutes to visit her and the Heidemans!

Sarah put on one of her famous "Disney Dinners" and the theme was Up! Check out the balloons :) We had hot dogs, "Russell" sprouts, "Karl-li-flower," and "Dug" bones, among some other yummy things. We did Up coloring pages and had an activity book. It was awesome.

The boys had fun too!

I really like visiting the Heideman girls.  Ella always makes me feel so comfortable and loved.

Sarah got me and Casey presents.... the best part was... Disney pajamas!  I got Snow White pjs and Casey got Toy Story.

The Heideman girls put on their Disney pajamas and we were ready to watch the movie!  Aren't we cute?

Casey didn't watch the movie.

He just practiced crawling around on the soft carpet.

Mommy wanted to catch us snacking and watching the movie, but I caught her trying to sneak a photo.

Then Mommy read Disney stories to the youngest ones.  This isn't a great picture of me, but...

... this one really isn't any better either so we just posted both!

Strawberry Picking 2012

Chloe here. While I was up north, Nana and Grandpa took me strawberry picking.

Here was the bucket I used.  The same one as last year.

Then I got down to pickin'.  Because everything was early this year, we caught the berries at the end of their season and they were very ripe.

Here's a good berry!  (Notice we have yet to get a picture with my eyes open :)

I did a good job picking.
