So You Think You Can Dance - Season 22 (2025)

Watch the screen. Then watch her. Not bad for a 2 year old, right? Think we have a future member of the Top 20 on our hands?

Happy Daddy's Day

Happy Father's Day to all of the daddies, grandpas, uncles, godfather's and hoping-to-be-daddies. And most of all, Happy Father's Day to the best Daddy in the whole world. I love you, Daddy!

More Memorial Day Fun

Chloe here again. After the parade (see yesterday's post) I took a good and then we headed over the Grammie and Grandpa's for a BBQ.

It was hot out, so they set up the little pool for me. Like my patriotic swimsuit?

I had fun squirting everyone...

And myself...

Until Daddy suggesting something intriguing...

Let's wash the car!

I love hoses! Watch out everyone, my aim isn't so good.

Then Mommy suggesting cooling off with a yogurt-pop.

Mommy is astounded (and jealous) at how long my lets look here. (Notice the water droplet on the camera lens...a result of my bad aim with the hose. Oops.)

Yummmy.

Does anyone else want a lick?

We finished the night with BBQ ribs.

Mommy says I must be a Simek if I love ribs this much.

Memorial Day Parade

Chloe here. We celebrated Memorial Day last Monday by attending the Elm Grove Memorial Day parade. (Warning - the spacing is off on this whole post and I can't figure out why... sorry!)

Here I am already to go in my patriotic outfit... munching on some grapes pre-parade.

Ok mom... you can stop taking pictures... we're not even at the parade yet!

We stopped to play at the Tonawanda playground on our way to the parade.

9:30 am and it was already REALLY hot.

We had a bit of time to kill before the parade and I spent it hanging in my wagon.

But when the police car came to clear the streets it got too loud for me!

All set for the parade to start with my Elton John sunglasses!

This is Mommy's new favorite picture of Daddy and me.

They did a flyover and Daddy covered my ears for me. What a good Daddy!

Here we go, ladies and gentlement (I know gentlement is spelled wrong, but if you know me, you will get it!)

First came some more emergency vehicles with their sirens on. I didn't really like this part.

Then I saw something in the sky!

It was these really cool, old, Red Baron-like planes. Can you count how many?

Look, Daddy! What's coming next?

Oh,man! More loud trucks. Just my luck.

I tried to be brave and wave...

From that point on, I was nervous any time something new came along.

No need to worry... it's the Racing Sausages!

I even got to collect some candy in my bucket :)

What's next, Mommy?

It's the cheerleaders from your school! Yay!

Ok, now it's getting really hot. I think by the time we left, it was in the 90s.

Here comes the marching band and color guard!

I made out good, with lots of candy. I even shared some with the boy behind me.

Finally, here is why we celebrate Memorial Day in the first place - to honor all of the men and women who have sacrificed their lives for our freedom. Thank you!
