Visiting My Uncle and Auntie

Chloe here. Yesterday we went to Chicago to visit Uncle Morgan and Auntie Megan. It was my first time out of state. My Grammie Jo says they took me "across the border." I got confused and thought we were going to Mexico. Oh well. I had lots of fun. We played on the floor and went to an Irish pub! I like Uncle Morgan and Auntie Megan because they're little and really cute...like me!

Sunny Day

These are from that one week when it was really warm. I came home from school and Dan had opened all the blinds to Chloe a good dose of Vitamin D. (That's really what he told me.) I think she likes laying on Daddy in the warm sunshine, don't you?

I Love Grammie and Gramps!

Chloe here. Sorry it's been so long since we've updated. It's been a busy week. Dinner with Grammie and Gramps, the Reske's and Aaron, Maureen and Jacob Golembiewski. Wow, I'm a little socialite. These are pictures from Valentine's Day. My Grandpa is telling me a story and it's SO funny! I'll post again tomorrow... we get to go visit Auntie Megan and Uncle Morgan!

The Making of the 3 Month Photo Shoot

Hope you all enjoyed yesterday's pictures. They were kind of a challenge to get because she was MOVING so much. We finally decided at the end to take a short video and show you how wound up she was. Dan said she had a long nap yesterday, so that might explain it. Happy Friday the 13th!

3 months

Chloe Jo is 3 months today! Milestones this month include oodles of smiles, some cooing (see yesterday's video), looking in a mirror, dealing blackjack, sleeping through the night, and trying to put her fist and thumb into her mouth. She also had her first walk outside this past month. She's gaining weight very well -she was 9 lbs 12 oz at the last checkup, and we think she's somewhere between 10 and 11 lbs right now. She is a bundle of joy and we love her so much. Happy 3 months, CloJo!

Talking with Daddy

Chloe here. I wanted to share some video of my daddy and me talking this week. I'm becoming very vocal and my mommy and daddy think it's cute. I don't think they know what I'm saying, but that's ok because everything they say sounds like gibberish to me too. Stay tuned tomorrow for my 3 month photo shoot!

Big News from Chloe

Chloe here. My mommy forgot to tell you my big news! Drumroll.... I have been sleeping through the night all week! Starting Monday night, my daddy put me to bed and I didn't get up until Mommy left for school around 7:30! It was been like that all week, and boy do I feel good when I wake up. I think my mommy and daddy do too, they've been in really good moods this week. My other tricks that I picked up this week are bringing my fist to my mouth and sucking it and making some cute "coo" and "goo" noises. My mommy and daddy will try to get a video and show you. Love you all!

Chloe's First Walk

Happy Spring (for one day at least). With the weather being so good today(I think it was 46 degrees), we decided to take Chloe for her first walk to the nearest park in her stroller. What a big day for CloJo! Before we left, we tried Mommy's baseball cap on. It was a little big, but boy did she look cute (as usual). Then we set off. It was a little windy and she cried at first, but then she settled in a took a nice nap in the sunshine. Mommy, Daddy and Chloe all got their pictures taken at Lamplighter Park in Brookfield. Then we traveled home to freshen up. Chloe got her snazzy Pooh outfit on after her bath and proceeded to fall fast asleep again. Guess all that fresh air is good for her!

Changing Party

Chloe here again. More pictures from the Superbowl party with my friends. After the couch photo shoot, we all had to have our pants changed (no big surprise). Our parents decided that it would be cute to have a changing party on the bed! Then we posed for a few more pictures. Notice how smiley I am at the beginning and how I get crabby as the pictures go on. (I get this personality quirk from my daddy!)

First Photo Shoot

Chloe here. My friends have been telling my mommy that they like it better when I do the posts, so I'm trying to make the time in my busy schedule. My mommy and daddy are still sick, and they're being kind of pathetic and boring so I decided to do a post today. This weekend at Jonny and Corrie's Superbowl party, some of my friends and I decided to have an impromptu photo shoot. I really like the camera and it was fun to pose with my friends. The little one on your left is Ashlyn Aiello, Tiffany and Joe's baby. She's only 2 weeks old! The big one on your right is Addison Jablonski, Jessica and Chuck's baby. She's 4 months old. If you haven't figured it out yet, I'm the cute one in the middle. We had lots of fun taking pictures until the end - everyone starting falling over and eating each other. I guess it's expected when all the babies get together. My favorite picture is the second one where we are all leaning and looking at something (someone?). Grins and Goos

Chloe here. I am feeling a wee bit under the weather today. My mommy says I'm running a low grade fever and daddy says I've been fussy. They also say, "Thank goodness for Tylenol!" (I don't know what that means.) But then they caught me sharing a little bit of my Chloe sunshine! Grammie Jo was there too. I'm on my changing table, which oddly enough is one of my favorite places. My daddy made me smile and make some super cute noises (so turn up the volume). Ok, time to watch American Idol - bub-bye!
PS- I graduated from newborn diapers to 1's - yay me!

We got some smiles tonight. This is usually her crabby time... and we suspect that she has a cold, but Daddy got her to smile for the camera!

Smiles

We have lots of pictures to post. We have been visiting lots of people! But, for now, here is a video. Background: We moved Chloe to her crib this week, and needless to say, she's not thrilled about it. The morning after we moved her (and were up every 2 hours) we placed her in her "chair," which she had been sleeping in before the move. As soon as we put her in, she was all smiles - she missed her chair the previous night, apparantly. We caught the tail end on video, but missed some big smiles. Here is a taste of what we saw!

2 months

The little peanut is 2 months today! Milestones this month include smiles (just a couple each day and they are like gold) and tracking us with her eyes. Last doctor's appointment she was 7 lbs 14 oz. We've come a long way in a month - check out how much fatter her legs are than a month ago! We are going again tomorrow and will update you with anything new. Happy 2 months, Chloe!
