Chloe is 6 months old today. It's so cliche, but time flies so fast. We can't believe she's half a year old already. Here are the milestones for this month - she grew two teeth... they exploded into her mouth before we could even figure out what happened, she is playing with her super cute toes, she figured out how to use her toys on the Jumperoo and other things, she shakes toys like rattles, she mimics the sounds we make and she's ALMOST rolling over still. Not quite yet, but we practice every day. Daddy is currently trying to teach her how to give a high five (I'm not sure if it's working). She started rice cereal about a month ago and after a rough time now eats it like a champ. She also started oatmeal yesterday. Later this week we're going to try veggies and Grammie Jo has helped us make a good stock of homemade frozen baby food.We're not sure how much she weighs or her other stats, because we go to the doctor later today. We will post that when we find out. She also gets more shots today. Sad :(

Chloe Jo! Happy half-birthday! I can't believe the little peanut you've become over the past six months! You don't know how lucky I felt when I fainlly got to meet you. Sometime I'll tell you the story about our first afternoon together. We laughed, we cried, then we laughed some more. It was wonderful! Take care, and keep up all the growing, learning and curiosity. These are things you should never lose. Can't wait to see you again, little one :)

Happy half-birthday pretty girl! You might not remember this because you were about the size of a mimosa, but you actually came to my 30th birthday surprise brunch! Thank you for taking out time in your schedule to travel downtown, I know you had a lot on your plate at then- well, with just being out of the womb and all and trying to grow big and strong.
