Country Christmas

Chloe here. This year we decided to head out to Country Christmas in Pewaukee. Mommy had always drove by and looked at it, but we had never gone. Given that we have been to Candy Cane Lane 5 times already this year, Mommy thought it was time to pay the $$ and check it out. Instead of me trying to describe what it is all about, here is a blurb from their website:

Celebrating our 16th year as Wisconsin’s largest and most spectacular drive-through holiday lights event! Country Christmas features over a million holiday lights festively displayed along a mile-long trail that winds through the woods. You’ll experience enchanting animated figures and holiday scenes – all from the comfort of your car. And when you’ve finished your trip through the trail, leave your vehicle behind and visit Christmas Village and The Streets of Bethlehem. Christmas Village is home to our spectacular, working model train display as well as a concession area to purchase refreshments. The Streets of Bethlehem is where you will be amazed by the near life-size Fontanini nativity display, an exact replica of the one found at the Vatican.

Here is one of the first ones we saw... Santa on a fire truck!
A train... my favorite this year.
Mommy really liked the snowflakes.

And Grandpa liked the poinsettias.

We all liked the lights tunnel.

And I liked the model trains!!

I had a hard time looking away to take this picture, that's for sure.

Ooh look!  All the guys from Rudolph.  I LOVE the Abominable Snowman!

Happy Country Christmas to y'all!
