We started by making some Rolo Turtles. They are so yummy, Rolos on pretzels then put in the oven. When the chocolate melts, you put a pecan on it. So delicious.
Grandpa and I did them together.
But as you can see, I was really in charge.
Grammie and Casey looked on.
I have to say, I think I was a bit of an inspiration for him.
A few days later we did some finger painting.
That turned into body painting.
And foot painting.
And butt painting.
Can you guess what we were making?
Wrapping paper of course! See all of the presents under the tree?
Here's me and my brother in our holiday jammies sitting with Grandpa watching the Pack on Sunday night football. They lost to the Chiefs, really?
This is my "teenager look." It terrifies Mommy.
Here is Casey wiped out from any number of holiday happenings. I like his reindeer shirt.
We had Christmas with the Marinkovich clan the week before Christmas.
Casey had some fun laying on a blanket.
Look! He's flapping his arms so fast you can even see his hands!
Mommy says that this picture gives her a preview of what he's going to look like as a teenager.
Watch out ladies!
I got to open present for both me and my little brother.
Ashlyn and I tried to get a hold of Casey while we set up.
Here's all the kids for a couch picture. Gabriella (16 months with a baby sister due in February!), Aubrey (16 months), Ashlyn (will be 3 in January), Chloe (3), Casey (2 1/2 months).
Isn't my brother a stud in his holiday hat?
Sometime in these last few weeks Mommy wanted to take some pictures of me and Casey in front of the Christmas tree in our holiday PJs. It was my job to "warm him up" by trying to make him smile.
It took a minute, but...
... I did it!
We got a couple of cute ones. Here's one.
I acted like a little angel.
But deep inside, this is how I was feeling. Casey was shocked. What do you think? Should this have been our Christmas card?
And, finally, our tree. Hope you all had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
