Chloe here. On Monday, I got to go to my very first parade. Daddy was home with strep throat (yuk!) so Mommy and Grammie and Grandpa took me.
Here I am with my Mommy. One of Mommy's students let us sit in his yard so we had AWESOME seats. Thanks, Bares family!
I had my own little camping chair with snacks for the long haul.
Ok, I'm ready... where's the parade? (Like my ponytail?)
The first leg of the parade had emergency vehicles. The loud sirens made me cry, so Mommy made me some earmuffs.
It was neat to see all of the veterans. Do you think these look like Mommy's Jeep?
I got a little crazy with the stickers that were being handed out. We got flags to wave too.
Mommy's school's marching band was in it.
Some of the UW band played too. Mommy REALLY liked this part.
As it got sunnier, I got less shy. Throw me some candy, people!
It was fun to wave at the people in the parade.
We got to see the racing sausages. Neat!
Here I am with all my spoils. They threw lots of stuff to me. Along with the candy, notice the toothbrushes and tape measure. Interesting.
We had SO much fun at the parade. I can't wait until next year. Although, we missed you Daddy!

Looking at the last picture with the pearls and sun hat I began to wonder if our Chloe had secretly joined the Elm Grove Women's Club. Thanks for such a fun day, little one!
