Chloe is 22 months old. Slowly and steadily approaching the BIG #2. This month has brought some maturity our little girl.
Not only is she talking more, she's becoming easier to understand. She talks about her "friends" a lot - Chuckles, Spunky, and Bitty (Baby) are regulars along with Mama and Dada for good measure. For sure, Bitty is her new favorite word... and "person."
Since school started, she has starting going back to the library every Thursday for playtime/storytime.
She is hanging out with two little boys that Dan babysits for every Monday and this seems to have motivated her to talk a bit more.
She is working on saying "please" when she asks for something and "I'm sorry" after a time out. She has also starting saying "more" as of today instead of just grunting.
She is learning some letters and numbers... A, B, C, and D are the most clear and then it goes downhill from there.
She is getting more picky with what she eats (has this happened to anyone else with a kid this age?) and often refuses fruits and veggies that we KNOW she likes (often she ate them just yesterday) but won't touch them today. This is frustrating for Mommy and Daddy.
She is drinking her milk out of a big girl cup more often and spills less often.
She still loves to be outside, getting into Daddy's garden, and pushing her "friends" (see above) in her stroller down our sidewalk
Happy 22 months, Chloe Jo. Daddy and Mommy are savoring every day with you, little girl!
