2 Years

2 years. 24 months. Chloe Jo is 2 years old!

She unofficially weighs 25.5 lbs. She doesn't have her 2 year appointment for another month, so we will give you official stats then. She is wearing 18-24 month and 2T clothing, depending on the brand, and size 6 shoes.

She is doing all the things the books say that a 2 year old should. Testing her boundaries. Asserting her independence. Letting us know her opinion. Being stubborn. She's actually really well-behaved on a daily basis. She's a good kid.

She is talking more and more each day. She will pretty much attempt to say anything you ask her to... tonight was "Merry Christmas" and "Santa."

She has tried peanut butter, as you will see in a future post and is getting more and more picky about eating her healthy stuff - veggies, some fruits, etc. She still loves her pierogies, though.

She loves to brush her teeth and does so while we sing the ABCs. We think she's working on a 2 year molar on the bottom left.

She continues to be obsessed with Elmo (and his friends) and Curious George. We're ok with that. It could be worse.

As for the big milestones that often come this year, here is where we are at. She is still in her crib for now and hasn't figured out how to get out yet, so we're not pushing it. She is also still wearing diapers, but if she asks to use the potty, we let her.

She is an absolute delight. We can't believe how fast the 2 years have gone.
